Can you believe what we are EXporting to China?
We import so much stuff from China, it's becoming quite difficult to find stuff nowadays that at the very least isn't labeled "Assembled In China."

But you know what we EXPORT to that country?

Pre-packaged, pre-cooked Johnsonville Bratwurst.
Oh yes.

Friend of mine works at the factory here in Sheboygan county, and he told me about this.
(Gave me a package too, outside of the words, "Johnsonville Brats, Cooked Brats," the rest of the label is in Chinese.

They send us toys made with lead paint, we send them heart attacks on a bun! :-)

3. Not enough pandas to make bratwurst beyond a few meals.
I'd say though it says a lot about native-made chinese sausage, that Johnsonville brats are a HUGE seller over there. :9

5. don't we export cigarettes too?
It looks like the three largest types of exports are ADP equipment 6%, electrical machinery (11%), and vehicles 7% but we import more in all those categories than we export, at least in 2000.

6. Yeah, we export lots of cigarettes to China too.
I saw this on one of the TV newsmagazines a couple years ago.
Maybe "60 Minutes."

8. The company I work for also exports a food product to China
In the interests of anonymity, I cannot say what it is.

10. Not a "Chinese food"
But it wouldn't suprise me if some American company did export some item there that we consider "Chinese food".
