Ever notice that the better cars are for the environment . . .
The more dangerous they are to folks on bicycles.

As a cyclist I love those old V-8 engines with bad mufflers. You can hear them approaching from behind a mile away and you know where they all at all times so you can stay out of their way.

Those damn hybrids are in stealth mode all the time. I'm gonna have to get some type of rear view mirror if they ever get popular in this area.

1. My driveway is on a blind corner
We used to have one of those mirrors opposite but it either got stolen or broken - not sure which.

Anyway, when I pull out, I open my window and listen carefully but I can only hear the older vehicles. I've almost gotten nailed a couple of times. :scared:
