Someone just mailed me my wallet back!
Everything still inside - unfortunately no return address or any way to contact them. I wish I could - I would make their honesty worth their while.

So there are honest people in the world!

3. They don't need anything more than the knowledge that the wallet went back to its owner.
There are plenty of honest people around and the only thanks they'd want is the thought that you, in a similar situation, would have done the same for them.

6. That happened to me! I got home from getting my new driver's license and my wallet
was waiting in the mailbox. All the cash was in it even!

The funny part was that I had planned to stop at home before heading out to the DMV but I was running late so I didn't. If only I had stopped at home I could've saved myself the time and the aggravation of going to the DMV!

7. We were on the way to my in law's in Mississippi
once and my wife's wallet fell out of the car on the way. We looked and looked after we got there, but realized it must have fallen out of the car when we stopped on the roadside to change drivers about 75 - 100 miles back.

Turns out it was picked up by some folks not long after we stopped who brought it to us.

I had forgotten all about that. Thanks forthe reminder. There are good folks out there

9. That happened to me once in Korea
I though I had lost my military ID, credit cards, etc.

The only thing missing was cash, less than $20.

10. My dear Taverner...
Oh, how wonderful!

Just when you think that humankind can sink no lower...

Someone comes along and changes everything!

That is such great news!

12. I try to do that every day
But I'm also kind of a major league asshole - so I think at best the two cancel each other out
