I'm really tired of opening my CD cases and finding no CD

My son is the king of taking a CD out of the player and not putting it back in its case. Because of this, I have about 20 or so of my favorite CDs that are just missing. (I assume at this point they have been thrown out because of me moving out of the apartment we shared and then him having to move out of it later and throwing away most of the apartment's contents. Even if we had found the CDs they probably would have been scratched to hell.)

1. I've always found CD's to be impractical.

They scratch if you just look at them, they're not simple to copy and you can't go jogging with them. I used to love good ole' tapes. They were almost impossible to break or harm, they were easy to copy and you could take them anywhere. And they were cheap. I think that in this case, "progress" is just inconvenient and more expensive.

2. Create a wall display from the jewel cases.

Title it "My Lost Music Collection.";(

He's living with you again, right? Aargh.
