I'm going to Great America Santa Clara tomorrow
the list of "Thrill rides"
http://www3.cedarfair.com/greatamerica/attractions/category.cfm?ac_id=2

i'm thinking i'll go on all them except for The stunt tower and that bungee thing. the last time i was a big theme park i was 88 pounds heavier so i'm looking forward to actually fitting comfortably in the seats and walking around the park without sweating to death.

3. I used to go there when I was a kid when it was "Marriott's Great America."
Loved it. When the big loopy rollercoaster went in, that was big stuff ...

5. Hey there!
Lots of us former Bay Area peeps up here, eh?

That's right -- the Devil. I recall that now. That was the first upside-down coaster I'd ever been on.

We were just down in Calif. and took the kids to the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. Beach and rides and chocolate-dipped cones -- what's not to love about that? :hi:

I haven't been in a while - I can't find anyone to ride roller coasters with. My SO flatly refuses.

8. i will, my daughter told me she wont be going that one either. I am the only one
in my house that likes roller coasters so she'll be warming the bench with my friend tomorrow or going on the non thrill rides while i go on all of the coasters.

9. If you need a seatmate, let me know
It's killing me - I once dated a guy solely because he liked roller coasters. :P

11. cool! the Medusa at Six flags is awesome! Big vertical drop and they don't tilt
the tracks at the bottom of it like they do at Disney so you get the effect.
