6. Until you read Girard, He turns Job on his head.

I'm not quite ready to preach that "I know that my redeemer liveth" is not a reference to God. Since reading Girard (whom I consider to be painstakingly correct), I've been grateful Job hasn't turned up in the lectionary. I'm dreading the day the he does.

This week it's First Isaiah, Hebrews or Luke.
