Don't pet your cat with a fish scaler...
I have a pocket knife with an extremely dull fish scaler on it. I had a lightbulb go off in my brain that I could use it to get dead fur off of my cat.

Now, I can't get her away from it. She LOVES it. I have a table with an overstuffed square pillow on it for her to lay on. Now she just hops up, puts her back to me, and expects to be petted and have her back scratched with it.

Damn cat. :D

1. I have a bamboo back scratcher, and if I pick that up to use it...
Samatha our siamese/himalayian mix thinks I picked it up to use on her. She comes running and has to show me her butt. Cats are spoiled.

2. Indeed.
That's what mine does, lays down next to me, and goes all elevator butt in the air.

12. All four of ours act like a bunch of fools when you scratch their backs...
Just be warned if one tries to bite it when you are scratching them, they are getting their nosed poked. Never fails I poke a nose at least once scratchign their backs.

Our cats can't get enough of this brush - I think it is laced with Kitty Crack.

5. One of my cats loves a hairbrush that I no longer have use for
(it's not fun when hair from your head starts to migrate to your ears and other parts of your body that used to be hair deprived)

7. I have a couple of brushes that immediately summon my cats.

All I have to do is touch those brushes and my cats magically know that it's time to get brushed. They're all over me competing for my attention.

:P

9. Mine is a whore for a brushing.
He even comes by when I brush my wife's hair. He's got to be in on everything.

11. My older cat hates it.
She'll allow me to brush her as long as I don't hold her, but not for very long. My younger one enjoys it, though.
