1,000 DU posts is kind of a special mark, because your initial profile then shows you with "1,000+" posts. I'm at 996 or so. I'm kind of reluctant to go over 1,000 mark. Because once you go over, you can never go back. It's like a loss of innocence. (OK, maybe it's not THAT big a deal, but you know what I mean).

the very second you go over 1000, you lose your mind. It has something to do with the software used for this site.
