threads. There was one that I could find, which got no responses.

I guess it's typical to argue about the negative as opposed to celebrating the positive, but in this case it's kind of a shame. Glavine by all accounts is a great player and teammate. And it's pretty likely that no other pitcher will reach 300 wins, considering how the game has changed, with starting pitchers rarely pitching complete games.

A-Rod also hit his 500th HR this week, faster than any other major leaguer, and apparently without the aid of steroids. He may be an A-hole but at least he seems to be a clean one.
