I used to have a rear license plate frame with the words "my next license plate will be made by Bush and Cheney" on it. A few bumper stickers too, but nothing inflammatory, just peace signs etc.

I am driving down Hiway 49 from grass Valley to I 80 in Auburn CA.


Some Moron in a big black 4X4 pickup was behind me at a light. He started honking his horn and sticking his head out of the window and yelling at me while flipping me off.

I tried to ignore him. He sped up and cut me off, all the while yelling and flipping me off. Then he changed lanes, pulled up right beside me and rolls down his passenger window, screaming at me. By now I am pretty scared but figure I am getting on the freeway soon and I can lose this guy. He is still yelling and calling me names. All the way to the fwy.

As i get on the ramp,he darts right behind me and follows me onto the Fwy. Then he pulls back. Then he comes racing up on me and acts like he is going to run me off the road. Again he does this. Now I figure that if I pull over I am going to get my ass beat. So that is not an option. I know that I can now get cell coverage and dial 9-11 and the operator is trying to talk to me, but I am more concerned with this maniac trying to drive me off the road.

He cuts me off and almost makes me crash. Then he lags back and does the run up trick again. This goes on for miles and miles.

Finally I come on a off ramp and I kind of fake him out like I am going to saty on the freeway, but cut across a couple of lanes of traffic and make the onramp, finally losing the guy.

I have never been so afraid in my life.

Basically, the granny got pissed about my bumper stickers and flipped me the bird. She also yelled "MAKE WAR" at me...yes, MAKE WAR:crazy:

6. I didn't respond to that post at the time, but

I wanted to tell you that that was the funniest thing I read all week. I laughed and laughed about "make war!" I even told my husband about your crazy "make war" freeper lady and he laughed too. Thanks for posting about that encounter - it brightened up my day.

3. I haven't had an experience nearly that frightening.

Everybody who knows me knows I'm a voracious reader. I'm always reading something. In many of the workplaces I've been, there are usually some people who, impressed by how much I read, like to show that they are readers too. They list authors like Danielle Steele and whatnot, and I try not to smile. Well, one time this lady I worked with told me how great the "Left Behind" novels were, "and they're all TRUE, just like in the Bible!"

I told her they weren't my cup of tea.

She seemed offended and said "Well, they'll be EVERYBODY'S cup of tea someday!"

I just walked away...

4. I read some of the Left Behind stuff

They were some what interesting, but they were poorly written. Those who rave about the series don't care about literature. I actually became annoyed reading them because of level of writing.

How do you pick a favorite wing nut story??? I don't know where to begin. The Hummer with an environmental plate? Talking to my former Secretary of State and having her say that global warming doesn't exist? Hearing a guy I was on a date with say that he actually thought Chaney was better than Bush (no, I did not continue seeing him)?

Okay. I got it. I was out one night and talking to a friend of a friend. Dude started talking about the war-and this was three years ago. He was ranting about the "positive" side of the war. I let him talk, and then I rebutted. At one point he told me to shut up and let him speak. I told him that I had listened to him talk and he should pay me the same respect. He didn't like that I had common sense on my side-and politeness. He looked at me and stormed out of the bar. He sent an apology through our mutual friend the next day-but my friends still laugh about the day I sent the Republican from the bar crying. I didn't see any tears, but my friend was adamant that he was.

Yes...she did say that...and I responded, "But the US invaded a country that had nothing to do with 9/11...and innocent civilians are dying"!!

She repeated her death to all Middle East citizens....

There was nothing else for me to say. This is her true nature.
