Drinking Junipero now, which I love. Tanqueray 10 is good and that's usually the best I can get in local establishments.

34. I saw some beautiful gins at the liquor store today
But I settled for the lime-scented Seagrams because it was better for my budget. I have a gin and tonic once a week in the summer. And I'm fussy. I prefer Schweppe's tonic, and lots of lime. I do like Tanqueray best, but these top-shelf bottles I saw today looked lovely for big spenders!

I thought it tasted like a mouth full of Off when I first tried it. After a few go rounds with it though I finally got a taste for it.

I think there needs to be another "Gin & Juice" like anthem to renew interest.

44. Because some stupid motherfucking douchebag once thought it was okay...
...to give someone a vodka drink and call it a "martini."

This is the same mentality that has James Blunt confused with "music" and the Republican Party confused with "government."

A fucking martini is made from gin and vermouth. NOT vodka. Certainly goddamned well not chocolate or raspberries or khalhua or fucking MIDORI.

SHUT THE FUCK UP AND DRINK YOUR GIN or do NOT call that mixological abortion in your hand a "martini" I don't give a shit if it's in a conical glass.

If you want dessert, eat a piece of cake. Let me drink my martini in peace, you adultrous swine.

59. I've not learned to drink martinis, real or other, but that is exactly
how I feel about margaritas. They are NOT supposed to be sweet slurpies, they are a proper cocktail and an adult drinks one on the rocks with no added sweetener.

Tequila
Cointreau
lime/lemon juice
ice
salted glass

Maybe Snoop Dogg needs to let Tanqueray use "Gin and Juice" in their commercials so they can get rid of that guy with the fake accent? They could pull a Jägermeister and hire pretty chicks to promote it in bars or a Bud and sponsor a music tour.

so I think I was born with a taste for gin. Mom is Welsh and the combo of English and Welsh pretty much gives me a taste for just about anything with alcohol.

55. You can't make a decent Vesper without gin
* Six parts Tanqueray Gin
* Two parts Stolichnaya Vodka
* One part dry vermouth

Shake over ice until well chilled, then strain into a deep goblet and garnish with a thin slice of lemon peel. To recreate the original bitter flavor of Kina Lillet, add a dash or two of Angostura bitters.
