My grandfather adored Mussolini. Good thing was, the communists beat him up on a regular basis (they had actual fights.)

10. It was my parental grandfather,

and in retrospective, I think what he adored most was the 'macho' picture of Mussolini. Mind you, this was in Zurich, Switzerland, amongst the Italian immigrants. I have even pictures where he tried to pose like him. No wonder he hated my mother's family. ;)
