Poll question: If I post TeenMidlo's senior portrait, how long before DS1 or matcom
shops her into strange and sundry stock photos?

They'll get right on it immediately, of course, but these things do take time.

3. Depends--is her head underwater?
Takes longer to find underwater strange and sundry shots, you know.

4. Fortunately, no. We both survived the photo shoot.
Dear God, it was SOOOO hot. And, humid.

9. Some kinda parent you are!
A really caring mother would have put her head underwater to cool her off.Consumer tip: Don't put "SOOOO hot" in a TeenMidlo thread that matcom is likely to read :hi:

12. Okay. Duly noted. But I didn't say Hawt.
It was all of 94 this morning and incredibly humid. Thank God for air conditioning. My car was like a meat locker. You know, mid life and all that.

that back in the 60's, people rode around in this kind of heat without A/C? It was a Serious Option back then. If it was even offered.

16. I'll never forget the first car we got with A/C.
My dad was in sales and prior to that, he would come home 3-4 times a day to change his shirt. That first car with A/C was pure pleasure.

We went from a Ford Escort with vinyl seats and no A/C to a Honda Accord with cloth seats and A/C WHAT a difference!

I read an article awhile back on the effect of A/C on the growth of cities in the South. Atlanta, Birmingham, etc. were towns before 1950 or so. It said that A/C in homes and offices was the #1 factor for the boom in Southern cities.

fantastic. Finally, able to sleep without sweating!

7. I figured it would take you at least 10-15 minutes to find the thread.
then another few to sort through the absolute worst background you could find and then at least 20 minutes to perfect your work. Can't have any shoddy 'shopping, ya know.
