Question for video gamers. My wife wants Dance, dance revolution
for her birthday but I have no idea what to buy.

We don't have a Play Station or X Box or any other video games -- nothing.

What do I need to buy and do you have any suggestions??

Thanks in advance for any advice you might have.

1. You need a game system and a dancing mat
There are bundled sets including the game and the dancing mat, usually around 70 dollars I think.

The video game system will cost you between 200-400 dollars, depending if you want an X-Box or PS2.

My advice is to go to somewhere like Best Buy or GameStop and describe your situation.

DDR is great fun and actually a workout :)

2. She wants it for the workout. I thought she was kidding at first, but
from what I have read, it seems like it really gets the heart pumping!!

7. Holy sh*t!! That's amazing!
My wife has been really bummed because she put on weight during her last pregnancy and has had a hard time losing it. She has a master's in dance and used to take ballet a couple of times a week which kept her in pretty good shape. She wants something she can do when the kids go to bed -- this sounds perfect for her.

4. You need a PS2, the game and at least one set of pads.
2 pads lets you dance more freely and there are also different kinds of pads depending on whether you want a basic plastic mat or a plastic platform more like in the arcade

5. Get PlayStation 2 and the dance pad (software) at Gamestop
or some other gaming place...

It will run you a little over 200...

We have contests in our house...it is a great workout...however I am uncoordinated so it is both a workout and a comedy routine...
