2. lots of things dude

I feel like a total loser...I haven't had a single interview for a *real* job after nearly 2 months since graduating college.

Working at Starbucks is fun, but it's boring the shit out of me. I want to be combating cancer, HIV, global warming...

Or teaching--something! Just something!

Right now, my fiance and I are barely getting by. When my student loans kick in, if I don't have a real job, we're seriously fucked :(

What kind of world is this? :(

my cousin has a masters degree and has lost her jobs in the past few years because of cuts in funding for science research. she has one now at some lab but it sucks that you have to worry about losing your job because of funding issues and not because of ability and quality of work.

it's the same reason you are probably having trouble finding work in those areas you describe.
