For my money you're not gonna get a better concert than Steve Miller Band

What a fucking AMAZING show. Not only did he do most of the standards (we still can't figure out why he kept talking about Swingtown but never sang the song) but did many of the classics from the late 60s to boot. The show was interlaced with great singing, great guitar jamming and hell, even some rapping by the keyboardist during "Fly Like an Eagle"

I don't give a fuck what little taste some of you might have musically - Steve Miller Band rocks! Best concert I've seen this summer and I've seen some pretty big names this year. Steve Miller just grooves my world!!

Afterwards we went to the Stone Pony in Ashbury Park (not sure why - I had never been there before so we went) and then we splashed around in the Atlantic Ocean and got a late night grilled cheese somewhere in Ashbury Park

Oh and what the fuck - I have ever EVER been to a concert venue where I had no choice but to get on a fucking toll road and pay money to get there. Hell only in New Jersey could they have a venue located at an exit that requires you to do the quarter toss.

Edit note: The venue was fucking packed to the hilt and included people of all ages - we jammed with people who probably weren't even born when the joker came out

2. Woohoo!! So glad you loved the concert! I've seen some different

bands, but Miller has to be in the top 3 for me!

I'm still hoarse from all the singing I did. We had so much fun - we were drinking beers, singing and blowing lemon scented bubbles all to Steve Miller Band
