I found it very hard ...

It was hard to rule against my friends here in the Lounge...

It took a LOT of time...So much that my husband resented it...

And I had to significantly change my own posting behavior...


OTOH, I did enjoy the incredible camaraderie in the Mod Forum...I made some friends there who were great to work with...

It was very interesting, and I'm not sorry I did it. The behind the scenes work is fascinating!

At least not right now. It has its moments - especially banning trolls! - but it is too much work if you have a day job. I didn't at the time, but I do now.

Many folks did...

I gave a lot of time...

I was typically on for an hour at least in the morning...

And several more in the afternoon...

And about 3 more in the evening...

That was the busy time...

To give you an idea...I racked up 6000 posts during my four month term!

It's a huge commitment, esp. since it's a volunteer post...

I'm not sorry I did it...but I won't do it again.
