They aren't delivering my couch today.
Apparently the guy who sold it to me didn't have me fill out some form, so the woman who was working today didn't release my sofa to the delivery people.

So not only does this twit want me to drive back down there to fill out some form :rofl: she's pretty sure she can't get my sofa out here today. :grr:

Let me tell you, if she wants continued employment she'd better get my furniture over here if she has to strap it to the back of her own car and drive over at 5 MPH with the four ways on. The incompetence of their staff is not my problem.

OTOH, I got a very good deal and haven't seen anything I liked half so well elsewhere.

I think I'm going to see about getting the price knocked down for my inconvenience first.

5. She called back a minute ago.
I told her I want a sofa or a refund by close of business tonight, and that if it's option B I'm going over their heads to corporate.

6. That ought to get someone's attention.
I had a situation like that, went to corporate, and they were kissing my feet by the next morning.

The customer isn't always right, but when we are most good companies will listen.

8. They didn't deliver our dishwasher today, either.
New dishwasher bought last week, and the installers showed up as scheduled today - but they thought it was to be delivered earlier, and it wasn't.

Old one still works, so we'll get by until next Saturday. No use getting worked up about it (hint).

9. If I hadn't waited around all day I wouldn't mind the wait much.
The latest and greatest is that it will be here later this evening. Who knows. :shrug:
