3. A
At least, I needed a new clutch a few years ago on my 1997 Fiat Punto and I don't remember getting stung that badly for it. Not over £300 bad, anyway. I don't think.

4. God, I hope you're right. I'm actually asking for a relative of mine
who happens to be broke right now.

I'm thinking I might step up and give him the money if needed...and if I can afford to!

6. I mean, it won't be cheap
But, it shouldn't be disastrous either. I've had several more expensive things go wrong on my cars before, let's say that.

7. Yeah...luckily Hondas very rarely need repair. I guess after
7 years or so just one repair (the clutch) isn't TOO bad...

9. Less than $300. This is an easy repair.
If you have never put a clutch in a Honda and you've got a transmission jack to get it in position--the hardest part of the whole job--it'll take you all day.

10. Oh, the car will have to go to a mechanic.
No one in my circle is even remotely capable of such a repair!

(That would really help, though.)

13. Well... clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing
for a Honda will be around 200 for parts, and probably another 225 in labor... so I'm calling about 425.

You can PM me your boobies whenever you find out.... :)

17. My tranny replacement cost $0 (under warranty)
But it took $250 in car rentals that the dealer wouldn't cover. Sumbitches.
