Does anyone else's dog like to attack flies? We've had more than usual this year, I guess maybe because of the rain.

When reprehensor and Fargs head out for their walk or when they're coming back, 1 always manages to get in the house. Fargo can SMELL them. We can tell he knows there's a fly around because he starts sniffing really intensely and checking out everything nearby: tables, chairs, other furniture, the blinds....

Today, he caught him near the window and CHOMP.

One gulp. The fly is history.

I want to get him on video, but it's usually so quick I don't have time to react!

1. My aunt used to have a dog that would go berserk when a fly was around

Big lab/collie mix, so when she'd go off it was hard to be around. I helped her move one time, and she was driving a Dart (pretty small car as I remember). A fly got in, and the dog started flipping out, spinning around in the back seat. she was big enough to shake the car while were were going down the road. Fun dog to be around, you betcha.

2. my cats do. they are not very bright. the fly usually wins.

3. My dog likes to hunt lizards.

He gets REALLY excited when he sees one. His little tail wags like lightning and he pounces all over. :)
