But they may end up posting in here anyway. :D
Over the past few days I have noticed some wild turkeys lurking about more. Here are some from my area.
"Hey Tom" -"Yeah Tom" "That guy on that was on his bike his back. He's got a camera now."
-"Are you sure it's not a gun?" "Yeah, I'm sure."
-"Okay, well just ignore him and keep eating." "Will do, Tom."
-"Hey, Tom"
-"Yeah, Tom"
-"Mess around with him a bit. Give him a butt shot and shake your head so you're frustratingly out of focus."
-"Done and done!"
-"Hey, Tom I'm getting bored plus all the cuss words coming from that guy is not letting my food sit well."
-"You're too sensitive Tom. But let's get outta here. Let's head for the woods over there."
These are necessarily great photos but I haven't seen wild turkeys in a while in my area (6 years to be exact), so I was excited just to be able to capture a few images. The light was low so my AF on my camera would not focus so I had to do it manually. Their heads kept bobbing up and down as they foraged so the heads came out soft. Whatcha gonna do? If I had raised the shutter speed to compensate the pics would have been too dark. Part II is coming later with better pics. :)
If you like wild bunnies, I posted this yesterday.
