sometimes you have to reload myspace (and be patient - it gets overloaded easily)

From sampling the songs on your MySpace you are obviously a talented singer and musician. The songs seem to show a great variety of influences from 70s folk, to a bit of Jazz, and bluesy rock and roll. Good luck!

Wow, that is really great stuff. Thanks for turning me on to that. It's not every band that can pull that off - pay homage to Bowie, but still be original.

28. i found out about them from a mislabeled mp3

bowie reportedly was played one of their tracks while being interviewed on an L.A. radio station and asked the d.j. "when did i record that?"

that is really quite inspired music. it also has an obviously heavy Queen influence with that muted and compressed Brian May style guitar.

But the songs are quite good, very well contstructed and thoughtful. Great costumes too.

Then changes in the tunes are also very Bowie-esque, 70's rock style changes. Really good stuff.

I wanna do a show with them!


on edit: can you imagine how many bands have tried sounding like bowie, how many times he's gotten that? the highest form of flattery, that.

I'm mostly inspired by her will, strength, power and beauty. Her music is awesome, but mine doesn't sound too much like it. Maybe that's a bit misleading...
