Strapless Thong Sandals? Up or Down vote please.
Do you ever wish you could avoid sandal tan lines without having to go barefoot? Well, somebody did, because a new sensation in Australia are Treds. Think just the sole of your flipflip and nothing else. They work by some adhesive that sticks to the bottom of your foot, and apparently you can clean them and reuse them again and again. I tried a pair and I think they would make for novel pool shoes, though I would only recommend them if you have dry feet (my feet don't sweat a lot, they GLOW). They're all on sale in a variety of colors for about $9.

1. I had a pair of those about 20(?) years ago.
The adhesive felt really weird and lasted for about 3 wearings?
Think 'sticky feet'.

2. saw them last time I was in Hawaii
they were tempting because I hate flip flops (uncomfortable) but i passed cause i figured they'd be wasteful (only good for a few uses I imagine) and because i think I'd feel weird with them on. If you get them, report back as to how they are!
