Anyone see "Mad Men" on AMC last night?...
...The script and characters aren't particularly compelling thus far but the aesthetic of the show is GREAT! The art department really did a knock-out, first rate job with that much of it. As sterling as "Good Night, and Good Luck" looked, this is even moreso.

I don't know anything about cinematography or art direction -- or whatever the actual skill involved is -- but I thought the movie was gorgeous. I agree that the script and characters aren't thrilling so far, but I'm interested in the history of advertising, so I like it because of that.

Besides, Zoe Bartlett is on it and now that they canceled Studio 60 I have to get a West Wing fix somewhere! :-)
