Mind you, I'll agree that Abracadabra was crap, but everything else is just amazing, beer drinking, sing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs good time music. It's nearly impossible to listen to Steve Miller Band and not have a good time.

why they put the raped-for-radio edited version of Fly Like An Eagle on that CD I'll never know....no excuse for that on any CD. Full album versions or leave it out. Among other things, the razor blades cut out part of the Hammond run-up near the end...Joachim Young was making a great musical statement, and those rude bastards cut him off. Assholes. Some people should never have been allowed near a tape machine and splicing block. (Yeah, I'm showing my age here LOL)

I had to buy the Eagle CD just to get that song in its unedited magnificence.
