It's day 5 (FIVE) for fireworks here
Started on the 3rd, it's now the 7th. My animals, the neighbors and their pets, myself have been dealing with this for this long.

Fireworks apologists can officially go fuck themselves right now. You fail to take into account the rabid stupidity of the end user.

Here, they're illegal without some piss-ass affidavit. Yet, it sounds like Afghanistan here right now.

Flame away.

1. I was pleasantly surprised this year. Normally we have the same problem as you, but I haven't heard
anything go off since the 4th.

2. Oh I would love it!
I love fireworks...they're are some going on outside our house but the doggy is downstairs with us and she has been good so far with it. She hardly ever barks and it has yet to get her too excited.

Sorry though that it's being a pain for you.

3. You want me to kick some ass?
Tell them your girlfriend spent the day being condescended to by salespeople, and if they don't play nice with you she'll come deal with it. That should put the fear of me in 'em.

PS It never hurts to get the neighbors a little teeny bit afraid of you.

I'll mow the lawn shirtless tomorrow, then.

6. Better you than me.
I do have really impressive scars though. :)

Tell them if they keep it up you're going to spray them with a super soaker full of chicken broth and let the dogs out the front gate.

7. Same thing here.
My animals are luckily apathetic about the noise, but it's really getting on *my* nerves. Seriously folks--Independence Day is over. :eyes:

9. We're right there with you buddy.
Kids were dropping them out of the windows from the apartment building next door. Our poor cats would be sleeping on the couch with us one minute, then on the floor crouching with puffy tails. We finally had to call the cops. Turns out we weren't the only ones who called.

10. That sucks! We lucked out this year; we usually get a week's worth
of noise, but this year just had a few go off the night before, and none since the 4th.

No way would I flame you; I feel the same way when it goes on for days and days. How are your animals doing with the noise?

11. Eesh. Yeah, I'd forgotten how much Floridians misuse fireworks.
Condo I lived in for the last two years had a no-fireworks rule, and I was in NC this year.

Personally, I love fireworks, but not firecrackers/super-noisy ones. Give me those nice, quiet fire-fountains that are real pretty.
