Recently had some problems with firefox/my isp's free accelerator program/ SOMETHING. Was getting proxy server error messages. Dumped the accelerator, fixed the proxy setting and things seem to be working EXCEPT the vast majority of pix won't load - I get the little cracked red x box.
Yet SOME do work. WHY? and how can I fix this?
oh, xp and sloooow dial up.

This morning I couldn't get anything to work - no e-mail, no web pages, yet it said it was connected and the modem test (pc doctor???) was fine.
What is the dang problem?
