O, beautiful and brilliant ladies of DU (man, whadda suck-up!) -- what do you think of the men and their beards?

2. I've been married almost 30 years and ...
I've never known my husband without a beard. I guess I'd say I'm okay with beared men. :D

5. Yes, beards.
Always look twice at a well-groomed (there's the caveat) bearded man. No androgyny for me, at least in physicality. Not entirely true, I like short, slightly built men. Well, I guess I haven't decided; I like them all.

6. Indecisive Libra here
On some o fmy guys I've really liked it. I had a boyfriend back in college who when he shaved I found out he had no jawline and no chin. Eep.

What I really prefer though is that scratchy stubbly thing. It tickles. ;-)

depends on the guy and the beard together.

I love my husband's beard, it's not scratchy, and I prefer the way he looks as opposed to without it.

edit: don't forget to keep it well groomed! no scragglies.

8. I don't like beards. My husband has a goatee (sp) and that looks
really good on him. Don't really care for a full on beard. On the right face, I can hardly resist a handelbar moustache. Not many men can carry those off.

10. Love 'em.
Love, love, love 'em.

But 'Robb is a dingbat' has a certain ring to it, too.

11. Homophobic - I'm telling!!
Ank has a scraggly sort of goatee. Every day I he comes and asks me if it's straight. I tell him it's gay.

14. Clean shaven please
it's bad enough you men have uncontrollable hair in places like noses, backs, and ears without having scratchy hair on their face.

15. Sarah's finicky facial hair preferences
clean shaven- good :)
mustache alone- usually good on most men (as long as it's not too Wayne Newtonish or Hitlerish) :)
mustache and short goatee- good :)
mustache and short to medium full beard- good :)
mustache and shaggy, long goatee- bad :(
mustache and shaggy, long beard- bad :(
any beard or goatee without a mustache- bad Amish man :( :eyes:
