Guess what I did this weekend.......
....I jumped in head first and put an offer on a really sweet 2-bedroom condo. It needs some new carpetting and a paint job but it's really spacious and a great neighborhood

OMG - I'm becoming responsible :scared:

3. you're in for some fun times
the great thing about buying a place that needs some work, is that you can re-do it any way you like. let those creative ideas flow!

4. Well technically it's in better condition then the apartment I have
but you couldn't really repaint and refloor the apartment.

Greens will be the new color of my place. I love greens

7. you should talk to my wife
she did our whole living room and kitchen in greens, with browns and reds for highlights. I just showed up to paint the walls and move heavy items.

5. Congrats....
I hope you get the condo. I bought my two bedroom condo 7 years ago and although the whole process was really scary (wait till you have to sign all that paperwork when you go to closing!) I can assure you its sooooo much better than renting!!!:applause:

16. I don't THINK so....
Depends on what you are doing with your loan I think...It could be I had more because I have an FHA based loan as a first-time home owner, so I had a lot of government red-tape kind of issues. If you are not a first time owner it might not be so bad..:)
