Any Ladies Walking Shoes Made In USA?
My wife walks. A lot. 2-3 miles daily, some days more. She's worn through her pair of Saucony walking shoes I bought for her a couple of years ago.

Her birthday is coming up and I'd like to get her a new pair of comfy walking shoes. So I was looking at the tounge of the old pair for the size and of course the tag says Made In China. I'm sick of seeing that.

So I wonder if there are any companies in the US making modern walking shoes. Any input?

2. New Balance is my favorite brand of running/walking shoe.
I'll have to check to see if mine are made here or in China.

3. I think New Balance is your best bet but if that doesn't work check out
this web site. As far as I know these shoes are still made in the USA and they are very high quality.

6. SAS are made in San Antonio
Hence the "SA." :) When their old factory burned down a few years ago, they stunned everyone by rebuilding in the same place. A few years ago as well, they also gave each employee a lump sum as a Christmas bonus, depending on how long the employee had worked for them. Some employees got $20-40K.

5. Ryka makes great walking shoes.
I have two pairs. Goggle Ryka. There are plenty of places to buy them. And I am pretty sure they are American made.
