I don't feel good...
This sucks. I am sick and I was two hours late for work last night because of it. I think it's because Dean did so bad in Iowa last night. Poor poor me.

My nose is running, last night my throat felt like I had swallowed broken glass and now my eyes are puffy and constantly running. This SUCKS!

What can make me feel better? Any suggestions?

1. My suggestion
Keep reminding yourself of how vulnerable Bush* is and how he is going to lose in November

4. Can you go home early?
Try to go home and just take care of yourself. Drink tea with lemon and honey. Take a bath as hot as you can stand it. Listen to some of your favorite music. Light some candles.

And don't panic. Dean did not need to come in 1rst or 2nd in Iowa.

Hey, I'm staying positive and I support Kucinich!

9. I wish I could just leave...
I honestly have not accomplished one thing today. Thank God the boss is gone.

I think I am going to leave early anyways...I have a Dr.'s appointment for something else later on this afternoon so if I leave by 3:30 I should be good. That's only...2 and 1/4 hours away.

I really should try that remedy too. I wanted to take some over the counter stuff, but someone told me that that only supresses your sickness for a few days and then makes it hit you harder... has anyone ever heard this before?

10. Yes, I've heard that.
And it makes sense. All the snot and symptoms you have are your bodies way of getting rid of the illness and toxins. If you take something that dries you up, you're just inhibiting your bodies cleansing system. What you need is rest, liquids, vitamins and purgatives like garlic, grapes, or cranberry juice.

Careful of too much fruit juice tho. Sugar is bad for your immune system.

5. I've heard of a remedy...
But I haven't tried it. A friend of mine swears by this family remedy!

What you'll need:
Lemon juice (pref. fresh squeezed from 1 lemon)
2 spoonfuls of honey
Sugar (to taste)
Water

Mix the juice from one lemon and 2 spoonfuls of honey. This is supposed to be the remedy, but to make it more palatable you can dilute it with some water, and/or add some sugar to sweeten it up (although my friend advises that you still might want to hold your nose when you drink it). It supposedly helps you feel better and gives you lots of energy!

8. It depends on your personal tastes...
But personally, I think it sounds like it would taste better than some of those cold remedies on the market.

7. Reasons to feel good
Record turnout in Iowa, a good turnout in November = chimpy goes back home

Bush DIS-approval rating is higher than any of the last 4 Presidents ever had: people are pissed & motivated to get rid of the Little Emperor (see above).

People are starting to realize that everything that everything he says is a lie... where are the WMDs? where is Osama?

Shitty state of the economy and while that sucks for everyone, it will be the number one issue in November. People are now realizing that Bush's constituency (big business) is not on their side.

Bush now wants to invade the Moon & Mars and although I am all for space exploration, Bush is a pathological liar and besides now is not the time for this.
