I just finished watching the DVD....

This is a must-see film....

Liam Neeson and Pierce Brosnan in a post-Civil War film....

A tale of death and revenge......and the consequences.

I don't want to say anything more....

But it was stunning in the way it unfolded, and the way it ended...

I didn't expect it at all!

Very moving.......

Do not miss it...

They were both complex and very human....

It was tough to watch in a few places....but I'm so glad I did!

I only heard of it on a movie review program that me and my husband watch....

We saw the review last year, and made a note of the film....

And a few days ago, my husband took the list and bought a whole bunch of movies!

This one didn't do well at the box office......why, I don't know....

It is really really good!

9. He's excellent, no question.

There were just some parts of the film, involving Venus, that I had some problems with.

10. Dear God, I hated this movie

And I really like the main 3 actors, as well. I thought it was edited poorly, I thought the background was given so superfluously that it hurt the overall narrative, and the flashbacks just completely interrupted the flow of the movie.

With no spoilers, I also was not impressed with the ending, as it was completely out of character for one of the 2 people involved.

It was a real "meh" movie to me.

Instead of seeing it as completely out of character, I thought the ending illuminated more fully the one person...

Of course, not all movies work for everyone...
