Prediction: Born on the 4th of July syndrome will rise again.

So if any of you remember how when the movie Born on the 4th of July was released there was this rash of people having heart-attacks during the movie. I predict that when people see Sicko, there will be many people in the audience, probably underinsured or uninsured who will be so enraged at what they see that there will once again be people having heart attacks in the theaters. Life being what it is, the insurance companies will find some way to further screw these people. That's what I see happening.

I remember seeing Born on the Fourth of July in the Theatre when it first came out. I VAGUELY remember the syndrome that you are speaking of.

From everything I have been hearing about "Sicko"...you could very possibly be right, because it will hit people where they live and breathe.

On a side note....The thing I remember most about the Tom Cruise movie is him sitting outside of a bar in Mexico (?) after being wounded. He was unable to perform sexually....but he had a date with an understanding lady where an intimate time was still had.

I remember thinking how proud I would feel, how strong I would feel...even if I could not perform....just knowing that it was because I served my country.

I don't feel like that anymore.
