Yikes! Dogs VS Smelly Skunk-HELP
My three dogs managed to get sprayed real good this morning by a really talented skunk. Soaked all three dogs! How do you get the odor off the dogs? I want to bring them inside tonight because it will be a balmy 13 degrees. Is there anything I can use to remove the stink?

3. I hear that tomato juice works.
I'd guess, however, that you've got quite a wait before they stop stinking.

8. found some recipes on the internet
Please use care when washing your dog's face. These ingredients all have acidic properties and can cause painful eye irritation. If your dog's eyes are red and swollen, he may have been sprayed directly in the face, please contact your veterinarian about soothing eye drops available.

Warning: Only recipe #4 can be premixed and stored.

Recipe #1:

1 quart 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
1/4 cup Baking Soda
1 teaspoon liquid soap
Mix in a bucket (it will fizz).
Soak your dog's fur, but be careful not to get any in his eyes.
Use a sponge to clean off his head and around his eyes.
Knead solution into the fur and be sure to get every part of him with it.
Rinse thoroughly.

Recipe #2:

1 cup of vinegar
1 cup hydrogen peroxide
1 cup of dish soap
Lather WELL, add water until a good thick coat of lather is worked up and let sit for 10 minutes.
Rinse well, followed by 1/2 cup of vinegar in 1 gallon of water to rinse and leave on.

Recipe #3:

1 pint hydrogen peroxide
2/3 cup baking soda
1 tablespoon of citrus-based liquid soap
Sponge mixture onto the dog's fur.
Let sit two to five minutes then rinse with plain water.
Second batch may be needed. Use fresh ingredients.

Recipe #4:

2/3 water
1/3 organic apple cider
Rinse the dog thoroughly, be careful of his eyes.

11. Tomato juice works
I also heard that a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda worked but I have never tried that so I can't personally recommend that one way or the other. There is also stuff at pet supply stores that neutralizes the order.

You might try a Google search, to. You might be able to find some effective home remedies.
