what do you suggest? I prefer something that doesn't get that dirty , or it's easy to clean.

1. Microsoft Optical Desktop Pro...
Edited on Mon Jan-19-04 04:36 PM by arcos
don't know if they still make it, but I bought mine a year ago. Wireless ergonomic keyboard, and wireless optical mouse. I've replaced the mouse's batteries 3 times, and the keyboard... not even once!

5. any AA battery will do...
I usually prefer alkalines... the mouse uses 2 and the keyboard uses.... I don't remember. Probably 2, too.

2. I have a Logitech .. Not one problem since I purchased in late Sept
It is very nice...no wires to get in the way...I was always pulling out the wire to my keyboard because of the chair/wire situation...now I have NO problems!!! However ...they still sit where they were before wireless...I am such a creature of habit..

4. Logitech. The set that has the MX-700 model mouse
Edited on Mon Jan-19-04 04:49 PM by ET Awful
The absolute best combo around (and I've tried quite a few).

The MX-700 mouse uses rechargeable batteries and has a recharger built into the base, so all you have to do is put the mouse in the cradle when you're done for the day.

6. I strongly recommend Logitech...
First, MS needs absolutely no more money.

Second I have had my wireless keyboard for 8mos, no real probs and have yet to change the battery. I like being able to sit the keyboard in my lap (don't know what the radio signal is doing to the "boys", though) and the mobility wireless brings. I am going to invest in the Logitech wireless track-ball here pretty soon.

11. Should work with any PC
Before you buy, check places like newegg.com their prices are usually much better, and newegg is VERY reputable. :) :) :)

9. Logitech is the way to go
I've had a Mouseman Pro+ for years, it's been flawless and extremely comfortable.

I'd recommend this:

12. Actually, I suggest a Track Ball...
Even if you get a wireless mouse, you have to have a hard surface to sit it. The trackball guarentees you can move around. They do offer wireless trackballs. I have a wired one, and I love it.
