Damn, Paris is a big crybaby....
"Paris Hilton was just ordered back to jail in Lynwood!

Hilton left the courtoom in tears, screaming, "Mom, Mom, Mom."

One witness described the scene as being "physically dragged" out of the courtroom by a female deputy."

6. She could at least have some dignity
She is a grown up, after all. It's only 45 days! People get sentenced to life every day, and I bet they don't scream for Mommy and about how it's not fair.

8. Doesn't matter. We all handle things differently. 45 days is a lot
of time. Maybe not for people with violent crimes. I would be freaking out. That is normal. She is going through a mental breakdown I am sure. She is scared.

be crying over going to jail. I wonder how well you would fair.

11. No, she was ultimately ordered to spend only 23 days.
Now that's down to 20. Less than three weeks.

The family's acting like she was given a life sentence--their behavior is ABSURD.

I'm sure jail's not fun, and probably even traumatic. But even pampered little brats like Paris have to pay the consequences of TWICE violating their probation.

They have medical facilities at the jail. Let them deal with her medical problem there.

just isn't funny for me! Even if it is Paris Hilton. I take joy in more important things.

18. Just so you don't feel so alone on this.
I'm with you. I think she should have to face the music and deserved some jail time and should never have been released in the first place, but I can understand being distraught. I would cry buckets if I had to face any amount of time in jail, and I don't think I'm a big baby by any means. If I'd been released only to be thrown back in the next day, I'd be screaming. And I can't take any joy out of seeing her dragged off to jail screaming and crying either.

26. I don't think it's funny, either. I think Hilton's overreaction is disgusting.
She's acting like a 2-year-old throwing a tantrum. It's beyond disgraceful.

It's one thing to be understandably upset. It's quite another to behave as Hilton has and is behaving.

33. Oh, no. I can most definitely say I wouldn't throw a tantrum.
Why? Because I'm a grownup, and in better control of my emotions (and my temper) than that, even under duress.

I don't throw tantrums. For any reason.

I cried like hell when I was in jail. So did all the other new inmates. I couldn't eat and I couldn't sleep- neither could the other new inmates. Jail is a scary fucking place.

12. It's only a short time stay in the slammer.
It looks like she could buck it up for that long. It just shows how she's used to getting away with anything and everything for so long that she cannot conceive of having to serve a little time. Damn, what a whiny mouth.

28. I tried, but it didn't take...
She puts herself out in the public eye, and it should come as no surprise to her or anyone else that her legal/criminal issues are also in the public eye. Her money does not put her above the law, period. So she can't do a red carpet for a few weeks, boohoo! It's not like she's being sent to Federal Prison or something.

30. This I believe
Having lived there for many years.

http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/TV/06/08/paris.hilton.ap/index.html

The Los Angeles County jail system is so overcrowded that attorneys and jail officials have said it is not unusual for nonviolent offenders like Hilton to be released after serving as little as 10 percent of their sentences.

36. She is getting what she deserves
She drove drunk and violated her probation TWICE! She thinks she is above the law and mommy and daddy's money will buy her out of anything. I don't feel one ounce of sympathy for her. I think her "medical" issue is crying, she's probably crying to anyone who will listen and the psychiatrist that saw her told someone that her mental state is "fragile". She's not gonna fricken die!

If she was smart she would using this situation to her advantage, Marth came out of prison more popular then ever.
