It's why I've barely posted in two years. One innocuous little comment brings some nasty attack from somebody who doesn't even know me....all in the anonymity of cyberspace. Sometimes it's too demoralizing to pursue being misunderstood again and again. Mostly I do face to face politics. I really like to meet other posters whenever I can to see if they are who they say they are. I am.

Breezing through GDPrimary, it seems the whole thing is a trivial pursuit between Dean bashers and Clark bashers. Looks about evenly divided, but I haven't counted.

All the good arguments were dealt with weeks, or months, ago and now it's reductio ad absurdum. It's become pretty much a parody of itself, and you gotta keep your sense of humor.

American politics is the greatest show on earth. It's just too bad the outcomes are so serious.
