2. Sucks that he had to leave the US...

to achieve some real notoriety. The first I had ever heard of him was when I was visiting the UK and some british friends of mine played "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" for me. I was flabergasted when I found out he was American. Maybe the US popular media thought he was just to militant. I like his stuff too.
