10. Wow...
Until you mentioned it, I assumed that it was a photo of the guys doing the drawings! This IS amazing!

Historical note: There's a long tradition of sidewalk chalk art in Britain--it's called "screeving". George Orwell writes a lot about screevers in London in "Down and Out in Paris and London".

11. Aha...
In the first photo, the guy on the right is real. Just to mess with our heads even further, the beer on the LEFT is real. Man! This is genius of a rare sort!!!

12. Here's information on the artist...
Kurt Wenner--he's actually quite well known, apparently. And rightly so!

14. I used to stand and watch them do that in London. Art school students
usually trying to earn money. Tremendous town for the
oddity, London. I remember going all the way down to the
tube platform in Charing Cross and walking around a
corner. A girl in a formal gown was sitting and playing
a 12' Welsh harp. Astonishing.

15. I found a use for one in a fark.com photoshop contest (kinda silly)
in case anyone is interested. I posted the link to the originals there as well, and it gives me an excuse to kick this thread back to page one ;-)

16. It is hard to impossible to tell what is painted and what is real
Is that Tony Blair looking painted in such a perspective that his face is on the far planter wall? or does the far planter wall even exist? or Is it a person with a Tony Blair looking mask...but his bottom looks a bit distorted...not that noticable...but just maybe???
