1. Some would call it paralysis by analysis - I overthink everything, and it gets me in trouble sometimes.

2. Somewhat related to #1 - attention to detail, allows me to work through problems and fix them before the situation is completely screwn.

I don't care much at all about pleasing others. My mom and my mother-in-law consider this a hideous flaw.

I have two best friends: CMW and G. They are the most genuinely kind and non-judgmental people I've ever known.

Yes, relatively speaking. It was rainy and dark, but it was lovely, too: Ginger snoozing in a chair in my studio, a quiet Saturday evening dinner with CMW, phone calls and emails from friends and family, a new painting roughed out on the easel. :)

My weekend ROCKED. Went to a small town about an hour away with my gf, stayed at a B&B, and just enjoyed the small-town atmosphere. We also ate at a restaurant co-owned by Greg Norton, the ex-bass player of alt-rock legends Hüsker Dü. I also got to talk music with him, and bought his new band's CD. It was the best restaurant food I ever ate.

4. did you have a good weekend? what did you do? - I had a good weekend. We attended a Memorial Service for my Wife's Maternal Grandmother up in NY. While it wasn't great that she died (although she lived to 91 and was a highly respected researcher and clinical Psychologist), it was good to see relatives and for my kids to play with their cousins. We met up with our friends Jennifer and Faye in Edison, NJ on the way back for Lunch at the Cheesecake factory in the Menlo Park Mall. The drive back home was only marred, as usual, by traffic congestion in Delaware.
