Currently listening to Nine Inch Nails Year Zero.....thoughts on this CD?

So far, I love it....but I have a sudden urge to go out on the street and bust something up ( just kidding ). Is there anyone else who has listened to this? For a while, I thought Reznor had gone soft, but apparently I was wrong.

1. Best album of 2007 so far!

I'm a huge NIN fan and this is Reznor's best since The Downward Spiral. I absolutely love it. It's a really paranoid, tin foil hat look at life 15 years from now, but it's right on the money.

That one was pretty edgy, and I really haven't heard something this experimental from him in quite some time. Good angry-driving music....especially Survivalism

2. I'm not a NIN fan and I haven't bought the album, BUT

I've heard Capital G on satellite radio and I'm really happy that Reznor decided to get political and corrupt the minds of our youth. :)

Only a handful of people got to go and at the end its "raided" by riot police. Pretty cool.

I love the concept and everything.How's the actual music though? I like my industrial crunchy,precise and aggressive (a-la Ministry,good KMFDM).My fave NIN was Broken,so if it's close to that I'll have to check it out.

12. Don't flame me but I put Reznor's last two albums in the same league

as Skinny Puppy's last two albums: misguided efforts by has-beens trying to recapture or translate something that died with the era that spawned it.

But then in all honesty, aside from Closer, I haven't really liked any NIN after side one of pretty hate machine.
