High school drama sucks ass.
Let's just say that now i'm being dragged into something that I'd rather have no business in.

Anyone got drama horror stories for me?

5. Lucky lou.
This year has been relatively drama-free. However, this one chick is just trying to get in my hair.

3. I seriously just want to scream at the chick.
It's not even the little innocent routine she's doing, but what gets me is that she could avoid all of this (She creates all this around her). I said to her that she should stop talking crap about this one girl (Ooold friend of mine), because it's very possible with the one girls anger problems that she could get her ass kicked.

So she tells the girl. And I get threatened.

Fuck it.

I got nothing, though. My high school career was luckily drama-free.

7. I envy thee.
I'm a freshmen and everything has been going great. But someone (Little female dog that lives down my street) took some advice and used it against me.

10. I actually almost made it through with no drama.
But then again, I'm a band geek. Our drama involves who used your mouthpiece and long arguments of who can play the better triple-C.

13. I only had a little drama in high school.
But it was my fault. With the exception of one incident I was drama free.

17. I have a method for avoiding the drama..
If you need something to talk about.. Talk about yourself. People hate this. But, it keeps you out of trouble.

So much shit is started because people are bored. They have nothing to talk about so they talk shit about others. Unfortunately, this happens at 30 too. I am lucky that I have settled into a group of friends that are comfortable with silence. We can plan to hang out and read books. The only words that are mandatory are "hey" and "later".

15. Wait till you see university faculty drama
General advice: it's best not to get it on with the same married faculty member that the married dean is getting it on with...

(BTW, I'm merely an observer in that particular story)

16. sophomore year = drama
sweet gods, did it ever

some of it had to do with a nasty breakup i had (lesson learned, don't date your friend, especially if he's related to another good friend and that friend is dating your best friend.)

the rest of the drama came because of the small-minded bigotry of some of my classmates. let's just say i could have, had i known better, had harassment charges pressed against a few girls

18. oh, it won't end soon
college is just high school with more alcohol. Well, for the first two years, at least. There's no "maturity" button that gets pressed when you graduate from HS...

19. Drama is bad news. You would be wise to try to rise above it as much as possible.
Dramatic behavior ISN'T healthy behavior, even among high school students, just FYI.

22. High school was endless drama for me.
Here's a situation I hope you never find yourself in-

When I was in my first sophomore year, a new kid in this school, I made friends with some kids who I originally thought were Wiccan- least that's what they told me, and being Wiccan myself I was excited to find a whole group to hang out with in a new area where I knew nobody. Turned out they had some different views. Anywho, I dated one of the girls for a short period of time (I'll call her A), and she broke it off but we stayed very close friends. The highlight of my day was to get to school and see her face and get a hug. Well, one of the other girls in the group (B) had it in for me- 1) because I got to date A, 2) because I became just as close- if not closer- to A than B. A was always B's best friend and not-so-secret crush (as if I would have known, being there for such a short period of time). One day, B convinced A that I was attacking A in the astral plane.
So, A, having been convinced of this by jealous friend B, got very upset and angry. I come to school, knowing I would see A, and walk to the area we always met- she wasn't there, so I went searching for her. I finally find A with B, and I run up to say hi. A tells me to fuck off. B has a very satisfied grin on her face.
Anywho, after a few days of talking, A finally sees that B is a malicious liar, and the rest of the school year is full of drama based around me 'stealing' A from everyone else. Great fun, considering that they all incorporated this into their .... views.
(Views that easily equal D&D on acid- and this is speaking as someone who does believe in past lives and the astral plane. Before you criticize her or the others for believing that sort of thing, they were very troubled kids, all with horrible home lives, and they desperately needed something to believe in.)

I got to deal with a lot of drama regarding A. Not just from B, but from boyfriends of A. I hated them all for having her, and they all hated me because I was loved more. Ahhhh high school.

And that is just the least of it. That's just one school that I went to for one year.

I eventually dropped out, due to my home life, drama at school, etc. But you know, even just 4.5 yrs down the road, I miss the hell out of it and regret my decision to drop out. I wish I had stayed and rode the storm all the way through.
