So last night, someone had the nerve to walk through my veggie garden and
knock the fence partially down. Because of the huge amount of rain we had yesterday, they also knocked loose several 4x4 fence posts. :grr: There are many other areas of our 400 ft deep yard to walk through, why choose a 30ft garden section? For them to walk through the garden meant they had to come through a narrow area between a neighbor's huge woodpile and my arborvitae tree line before attempting to cross the garden area.

On the good side, they must have been sober enough to know it was a garden, they stepped over the 30" tall garden fence and walked in the rows, not on the plants..but then must have not been able to raise their foot far enough on the other side. Their footprint is clearly outlined in mud right in the middle of the knocked down fence.

There was a big celebration in town last night so I suspect said person came from there and was using our yard as a shortcut.

4. Nah, no deer, clearly some type of heavy shoe or boot track.
We could follow the mud prints almost to the other side of the property line.

7. Yep, I'm glad my plants are ok.
Just not happy about having to redo the fence.

6. Shriek..I hope they didn't urinate in my garden, ugh
We've had that problem with teenage boys the last couple years but I've only seen seen them do it on our trees and a neighbor's stone garage. Last I heard, two of the kids got sent to juvi for other things, haven't seen them around lately.

Plants look ok..nothing squashed, just the fence.
