PSP or video iPod?
Edited on Sat May-26-07 08:42 PM by Lost-in-FL
Do you have an iPod or a PSP?

If you had the money right now which one would you get?? :dilemma:

I will be going on a looooong trip and thought about getting one or the other. Although the PSP is around $170 it seems one must invest an amount of money that would pair it to the 30G iPod. If that is the case, would you get a video iPod or PSP? I am looking for something I could use to save music, video games, pictures and movies.

1. my daughter has a PSP and she plays fames and watches movies on it.
the graphics are excellent and it's a neat little machine. Do you want to play games on it? The psp uses UMD? discs for movies.

6. I love my iPod
it's full of tunes and subversive movies (1984, Clockwork Orange, A Scanner Darkly) and other guilty pleasures like Garden State, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the Wall, the Professional.

go for the iPod

8. I like the iPod choice
The iPod seem like a big out of pocket expense but then when you compare the prices of the movies and games with those of the PSP format it seems like the ipod is a bargain. The only problem is that I think the screen its too small! Is the size of the screen a problem to you? Have you downloaded any games yet?

10. I havent done any of the games yet
and yes, the screen is small if you try to watch a movie in widescreen format. I like to plug mine into a tv and watch the movies that way. it impresses the hell out of people when I visit and can plug my ipod into their tv via the red, white, and yellow connections that most have on the fron of their tv. Also, you can use the iPod as a hard disk and carry any info on it as though it were a flash drive. I used mine while travelling, and kept some personal info on it. The info could not be seen on the ipod menu, but only when plugged into a computer.

9. Really??
The idea went through my head for a second. I checked the "Palm" website but didn't look like a good choice.

Can you watch movies on those??
