I just realized I am a year younger than I thought I was.
How the fuck did I walk around for 6 months telling people the wrong age? How does one do that? This truly a sign of old age. And now I have a resentment against myself for wasting all that time thinking one thing and being another. WTF? No wonder I hate it here lately. I am completely wrong about everything.

I just hope I don't run into myself too often. What a disaster.

3. I did the exact same thing a few years back.
For almost the entire year I thought I was forty eight, when I was in fact forty seven.

Tell ya what- it's a great feeling, getting an entire year back after the realization hits ya!

5. eh
after 21, it's just a number, and doesn't signify anything important.

Congrats on reversing the aging process, though. :P

6. On several occaisions, I have told people that I am younger than I am
And actually believed what I was telling them for that moment. Last time I went to the emergency room when I was a bit out of it, I told them I was two years younger than I was.

27. Then you're still quite a young lady.
I was born in '55, which makes me.... er, never mind.

I also have a big sister whose birthday is June 3. As fellow Geminis, we've stuck together all our lives.

16. That's not so bad. I have to mentally calculate every time someone asks.
It's not something I place much "selfhood" on, I guess.

And speaking of age...When do people stop attaching fractions to their age?

I'm 11 and a half.

I'm 15 and three quarters.

You don't hear anyone say....I'm 43 and a half.

And people hold onto 29 until the last nanosecond.

Although really old people, 85+ seem to get a kick about bragging about their ages. Just like kids do.

Shit, I have to navigate around walkers and oxygen machines. And it sounds like a TB ward. I'm one of the youngest there. Ain't nothin' to be proud about, tho.

18. I do the math too
Unless someone I know is around, I immediately look to them for the answer. Most of my family/friends know that I truly am guessing if I say a number so they blurt it out.

The last little while I remember because it's on my website and I see it often.

:silly:

20. My mother found out a few years ago that her birth certificate was wrong!
In her late 50s, she found out that she was actually a year younger than she'd thought HER WHOLE LIFE. Her mother died when she was little and her family life was kind of chaotic and it just kind of slipped notice. She'd always celebrated the right birthday, just the wrong year!

I always have to stop and think and do a quick calculation to remember! The way the years just fly by, it's no wonder we can't keep track!

31. My sister did that
She told everybody she was 36 when she was 35. I asked her why the fuck? She just said she jumped ahead with the acceptance. 35,36,45 It doesn't matter. We all melt into nothing soon enough. No I'm not Jewish. LOL

age. Anda higher number, of course. I think it's a good sign that we're not attached to our age that much. ;)
