Internet Explorer 7 SUCKED (for me).. anyone else have a problem w/it?
I have Windows XP... I "upgraded" from IE version 6 to version 7, and the browser kept crashing EVRYTIME I tried to go to a web page. It was horrible... I had to keep rebooting my system because after the browser froze, the other programs running didn't run well... I uninstalled it and then my iexplorer.exe "disappeared", my quick launch icons were gone.... Internet Explorer 6 went MIA, though it was still somewhere in my Windows OS. I tried various fixes on the Microsoft web site-- ended up reinstalling version 7 because version 6 is not downloadable (part of Windows), and ended up unistalling IE 7 over and over with each attept to correct the problem...

I am not an IT genius, and it took me some time to figure out how to get my old version of Inernet Explorer back (Control Panel and then re-install Windows Programs icon).... YECH. Watta a frigging piece of shit browser- for me. Anyone else have a problem with it?

1. It works fine for me, sorry
I never use it, though, because Firefox so thoroughly kicks IE's ass.

4. Same here
Our IT guys have been nuts with this POS all week too. It would keep installing no matter what they did and it messed up all our other systems for at least a week.

6. IE 7
turned me into a firefox user. It lagged so bad, I was very upset with myself for upgrading. Or in this case, downgrading.

7. Turned out to be the only browser that would let me...
...pay my power bill. On Vista, yet.

8. When I switched ISPs, I had to uninstall IE7,
and revert to IE6. They told me that IE7 only works with Vista...

11. I installed by accident at work with the updates
It does suck! There are many pages a can't open because of it. There are a lot of Java based solutions that cannot be open with IE 7.
