1. I'm having one.
I'm having one.

I'm having one.

I'm having one.

I'm having one.

I'm having one.

I'm having one.

I'm having one.

I'm having one.

I'm having one.

When I figure out what to go do with it, I shall let you know. And by that I mean 'deal with it in a positive manner' as there are ways I'm not going to approach.

I just wanna run away to Holland and eat good food, drink good drink, smoke the obligatory sticky bud, and drive a tour boat through the canals.

17. That's called a Killer Vacation.
It's a midlife crisis when you actually move there and take up residence.

16. It helps when you go through it when you're not married...
...you can act out in whatever impulsive ways you want without wrecking havoc & destroying those around you...at least I was lucky that way. But, no way do I have it together...I'm not sure we ever do. It goes from one challenge to another constantly.

I'm sorry you're going through this and I understand how hard it must be in your situation. I wish you the very best, TOhio and hope you can find your way to peace & happiness soon.

20. Having a mid life crisis
of prolonged duration

i'm not dealing well, although i've been working out again which seems to help a little bit.

otherwise, i'm a :grr: d00d who feels as if the rug was pulled out from under him somewhere along year 41, and it has been replaced by cheap cheesecloth "rugs" ever since.

I'm working on trying to see if i even need a damned rug, the floor may be just fine and hell even better.

Now if I could quit pissing people off I might be able to feel less whatever...

I'm the common denominator in that equation though.

I wish I had done some (make that several) things much differently, but I did what I did, and I reap what I sowed.

So, what were we talking about? Oh yeah, midlife crisis. I think that feeling the age, the extra pounds that came on so easily and go off so damned hard, feeling like maybe I've been some kind of an automaton, going through the motions, working for the "dream" and supporting those who depend on me, but feeling like it is all a farce, is all part of it for me.

:hi:

36. no, really, it mostly doesn't work.
although i have a teenager who needs a pile of that.
i'm getting kinda frantic to get moving down my chosen path, but something or someone is always in the way. sometimes it works to be a bitch, but sometimes the cost is pretty high. i'm in the middle of one of those situations this week, and fuck if i know what to do now.
the people who love me get it, but the people who don't, well, they don't.

40. Well, I am 43 and we are trying to have a baby.
I've postponed motherhood until I found the right guy to have a family with. I met him in 2002 and we are trying for a year now.

Does that count? Any tips on how to increase our chances?

do baseline charting. Once you get over a certain age, "pure chance" just doesn't work. I've got old eggs and he's got lazy, slow, old sperm...to get a date between those two would be a miracle
