What do you know about spells and curses?
I need some information. I own a small business and found today a bundle of 18" dried grass leaning against my front door. It had a small dried flower in with it.

Coincidentally, our next door neighbor, a Xtian cult group, moved out today. We once complained about the noise of their music (drums, etc.) They weren't happy about that.

Am I nuts thinking they would do some kind of Blair Witch thing? Many of the regulars were teenagers.

I'm not worried about it, just curious about what the heck it is!

Anybody?

3. cleanse your area well
negative spells can be erased with positive energies, plus those who cast evil spells are more susceptible to negative return energy.

Try smudging your area with some white sage, it works for me

4. Maybe it was an offering of sweet grass. The Native Americans burn it
it helps to cleanse and create sacred space, like sage does. The fact that it was left at your door and it had a flower in with it seems to indicate a positive intention.

That's the hit I get.

I wouldn't worry about it.

A true witch knows that whatever energy is sent out comes back, threefold. HARM NONE is a key tenet of the wiccan faith.

5. I just talked to my daughter (who runs the business day to day)
and she told me that a lady two shops down, who ran a yoga shop, got a handwritten note last month that was pretty suggestive and had a lot of different symbols. The lady has since moved on, but we are going to contact her and compare notes and talk with the other shop owners.

That scenario doesn't seem to implicate so much the Christian group (although they are listed on the web as a cult) as maybe a person seeking to intimidate. I should mention that my daughter is young and very attractive, and it worries me now just a bit. She goes there alone every AM with two toddlers.

At first I thought maybe it was an anti-witch kind of thing from the Xtians, now I'm not so sure. I have not seen the thing, but spoke with a friend who did (she was a customer at the shop today) and she said it is not really grass, but something that grows native here called broom. And the flowers were part of the broom, not separate.

Thanks for your input.

7. Could it symbolize death of peace? When one dies, they are buried under ground,
with grass placed over the top.

Then again, my ability for being accurate is quite the opposite of my ability to be imaginative.
