I need some help, Lounge..
No...not that kind of help. ;-)

I need to find a great 40th birthday gift for my younger sister...
she loves films (Film Major)....iron works....riding dirt bikes...
martial arts. Yeah, she's not your average feminine kind.
Any great ideas?

It's getting close, now...next week...and I still can't come up
with anything.

Any ideas...please?

1. Does she work in an office? I'm going to get my husband a digital
picture frame for Father's Day. I think that is a great gift.

2. Nope...
she's always on the move...different offices, at the studio she works at.
But, that's a good idea for someone else...thanks!

I suppose money is always an option, huh?

I'll kick this, just in case someone can think of anything else....

Thanks!

5. No, not unless she really needs it.
Money is a thoughtless present.

16. Good swords are very pricey, though.
But here's a place that sells some starting from $69.99

..of all the ideas, this one fits her personality the best.

Sometimes, it's hard to get someone a gift they would like instead of one you- yourself- would..you know? :hi:

6. Riding dirt bikes-- is that bicycle bikes, or moto?
Either way, a gift certificate to some place that sells gear. You can never have enough gear. I get my girl-bicycle-gear from Terry Cycling.

Or, for the film angle, how about a gift subscription to Ironweed films? Google 'em up --they are pretty cool.

Anybody know of a good bike shop (motor sport biking) in California...
that is also in Texas?

Yeah...I know I'm asking a lot here.

I'll go surf the web a bit now...thanks!! :hi:

11. No...
She hates mainstream anything. This is part of the reason she is so difficult to buy for.
The gift she cherishes most, that I ever bought her, is a $3.00 silver ring I found at a craft fair once...and I've bought her many more expensive things in the past! Thanks, though! :-)

13. Yes, she has very long hair....
But never does a thing with it! ;-)

Still, maybe now that she's turning 40, she might try a different style with her hair...
who knows?

Good idea...thanks! :hi:

I had no idea, since I don't dirt bike.

I don't dirt bike, but they have regular biking clothes too, which are pretty cool. I've bought some shorts form them before.
