Did I screw up the grout in the shower with Lime-Away?
There has been ONE little irritating ding in the grout for years. A few years ago I used some (acid?) crystal stuff that cleaned it up, but it came back. So I've been using the Lime-Away in the commode for a long time and been very happy with how it totally eliminates stains. Even on the corroded bolts holding down the commode.

So a month or two ago I decided to try it on the ding in the grout. And not stopping there, I scrubbed the whole front end of the shower floor to cut through some soap scum. Well, now there are SEVERAL "dings" in the grout scattered throughout the area I scrubbed.

Have I screwed up totally? Will anything reverse it? Thanks in advance. There's always somebody here who knows JUST the correct answer.

1. Sounds like you could just
wipe some new grout on at this point.

3. Oh, absolutely. It's toast.
Look, there's only one cure for your problem: You must, at this point, tear out the whole shower and replace it with materials you buy from the Home Depot in Fayetteville, NC. And you must buy it TODAY.

I should tell you that you could actually fix the problem with unsanded grout and a grout float, but I need the sales to make plan this week.

4. I used some acid once too
went to a dead concert

i doubt you've screwn your grout, but you might want to try to smooth it out with some grout repair stuff
